Pakistan lost the 6th and last ODI by New Zealand,However they named this Tour with a fabulous wins in Tests and ODI's

   In the 6th and last ODI Pakistani player looked to be off on the ground as they failed to case the big target of 312.From the start of this game Kiwi's were looking hungry for a win and their players did fantastic to named last ODI to theirselves.Whole team was looking in form as MJ Guptil scored 44 runs,SB Styris made 58 not out, NL Mc Cullum scored 65 and their main inning was handled by JR Ryder who played a solid knock by scoring 107 and lift his team and gave their bowlers a lot more confidence to bowled Pakistani Batsmen out.

   That was just a start there was a lot more to end up , when Pakistani Opners come to the crease,kiwi bolwer K Mills ends in form Pakistani young Batsman Ahmad Shahzad on 14 runs.As the game passed they looked more uncentain with their batting performance.

Pakistan's great victory against New Zealand by 3-1 in ODI's

The pressure was on New Zealand at the halfway stage in their chase as their batsmen were up against a determined bowling performance from Pakistan and a creeping required rate. Martin Guptill took over the task of anchoring a chase of 269 amid a tight spell from Pakistan's seamers who gave little away, while Ross Taylor, the captain, who's battling inconsistency, supported him at the crease. The partnership threatened to keep New Zealand's hopes of a series win alive but Guptill's resolve ended when he mistimed a pull in the 24th over, leaving it to the rest to build from scratch.

The start to the chase could not have been worse for the hosts as Jesse Ryder backed up too far and was run out without facing a ball by a direct hit from Misbah-ul-Haq. New Zealand would have banked on Ryder, back in the XI after missing out due to injury, to provide some early impetus but that responsibility was passed on to Jamie How, who struggled.

Unlike New Zealand's bowlers who had provided ample scoring opportunities to ease the pressure on Pakistan after each dismissal, Pakistan's fast bowlers hardly ever overpitched, bowled consistently in the channel outside off and dried up the runs. How was choked at one end as he played and missed, failed to beat the field when he connected well, found it difficult to measure up to variations in pace and ironically, succumbed to one of his more favoured shots. After seeing out 38 balls for his 12 runs, he pulled Wahab Riaz straight to deep midwicket.

Guptill, watching the proceedings at the other end, faced the pressure with a combination of bravado and opportunism. He dealt harshly with deliveries bowled wide or pitched up on middle - there weren't too many of them - and improvised to clear the infield. Abdul Razzaq was struck through point and midwicket when he erred in length and Shoaib Akhtar was driven back over his head. Guptill ensured a steady flow of singles, ran well between the wickets as the field spread out and continued to be ruthless when freebies came his way. Shahid Afridi dropped short twice to be slashed through point, and Shoaib was dealt the same way when he offered width. But having survived a close lbw shout early in his innings, Guptill failed to take full toll, as a short delivery from Shoaib came on a touch too quickly and he holed out to deep square leg.

The onus was on a determined Taylor, who took his time to settle in and overcome the nervy start that has plagued him this series. He appeared to be getting back to his groove when just a firm push off Afridi raced to the extra-cover boundary and, in the company of Guptill, to whom he had ceded floor, kept his team on par with the required rate. Pakistan slipped up when Mohammad Hafeez gave Brendon McCullum a life, dropping him on zero, keeping New Zealand in the hunt in what is building up to be a thrilling chase.

Pakistan received another boost in their preparation for the World Cup with opener Ahmed Shehzad stealing the limelight with an attacking century, his first in ODIs, to set a challenging target in a crunch game for the hosts. Shehzad batted with utmost confidence during his calculated assault, overcoming a cautious start and an early wicket in overcast conditions by launching a counter-attack that snatched the initiative New Zealand had worked hard to gain at the start of the game.

A miserly first spell by Kyle Mills appeared to have justified Ross Taylor's decision to bowl, as it cramped the usually fluent openers through nagging lines outside off stump and crafty variations in pace. He conceded just one run in his first three overs and when he provided a rare opportunity, offering Mohammad Hafeez, generally solid and fresh from a century, some width, he earned a wicket as the batsman spooned a catch to mid-off.

Shehzad, though, was determined to pull things back. He had warmed up with a crisp straight drive off Hamish Bennett but turned to power play to release the pressure created by the early wicket. Mills' tight lines were countered with a mow past mid-off and an agricultural slog over midwicket, catching the bowler off guard and marking a turn in the tide. Shehzad had won the psychological battle when Mills strayed onto the pads the next over, to be glanced to the fine-leg boundary.

A feature of Shehzad's knock was his domination of Bennett, which offset any pressure New Zealand were able to inflict with the fall of a wicket. Bennett overpitched too often, or dropped too short, and was picked off consistently for boundaries. He squandered some hard work by conceding fours off the last balls of his first two overs and was struck for consecutive boundaries by an initially rusty Kamran Akmal before Shehzad singled him out for treatment. He was launched for a straight six and welcomed in his second spell with a violent pull over the midwicket boundary followed by a clean strike over long-on.

While Shehzad took timely risks and had the power and ability to back them up, he was ruthless against the opportunities doled out by the bowlers when Pakistan had been forced to shift gears in the middle overs. The run-out of Kamran resulted in four boundary-less overs before Nathan McCullum, otherwise quite tidy, gifted a short and wide delivery that Shehzad slashed through point. Scott Styris met a similar fate while James Franklin was a victim of Shehzad's subtleties as he was twice scooped over fine leg. The constant, throughout Shehzad's innings, only his seventh in this format, was his assuredness and determination to keep the hosts worried at one end. When he fell, miscuing Styris to deep square leg, with plenty of ammunition left in the batting, New Zealand were staring at an intimidating target.

Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq, Shehzad's senior partners, built useful partnerships but fell trying to step up. With a Powerplay to go, Pakistan were still in control. New Zealand, however, caught well and their medium-pacers managed to restrain a power-packed middle order through some accurate bowling. Low full tosses proved difficult to score off, Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzaq holed out to be dismissed in consecutive overs while Oram and Benett combined to keep Pakistan down to just 11 in the last three overs. Only once has a team lost chasing at Seddon Park since 2002 but with New Zealand's recent ODI record in a shambles, Pakistan won't really be worried about past results at the venue.

Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 43 Runs to level the series

A solid maiden ODI century from Mohammad Hafeez, a monstrous assault in the death overs led by Shahid Afridi and a spirited performance in the field were features of a roaring comeback by Pakistan in the ODI series, which they leveled 1-1 with a 43-run win at the AMI Stadium in Christchurch. Hafeez counter-attacked after Pakistan had been dented in their start and dropped anchor in the middle overs to set up a launching pad for Afridi and Umar Akmal to smash 126 runs in the last ten overs. Faced with a stiff chase, New Zealand fought hard but timely breakthroughs meant they were always struggling to measure up to the asking rate, eventually leading to their downfall.

The greenish appearance of the track proved deceptive as the movement off the seam that Ross Taylor had banked on when opting to field proved negligible and unthreatening. Yet, the conditions weren't too easy for the batsmen early on as the pitch played slow and low and the ball didn't come on. Hafeez, who has often squandered starts since his promotion to the top of the order, lost two partners, Ahmed Shehzad and Kamran Akmal, to deliveries that appeared to stop on the batsmen. But he cashed in on the indiscipline of the New Zealand seamers, who doled out freebies fairly regularly during the course of the innings, to gradually undermine the initiative gained by way of those early strikes.

The short square boundaries at the AMI Stadium were inevitably favoured as the bowlers didn't help their cause by consistently pitching short. Not long after he had nipped out two wickets, Tim Southee was pulled for consecutive boundaries by Hafeez; Hamish Bennett, struggling to bowl into the wind and dropping significantly in pace, was welcomed with a swipe to fine leg and six over long-on while Jacob Oram, in the very over he dismissed Younis Khan, was dispatched over midwicket.

New Zealand had a few chances to limit the damage. Hafeez was dropped on 49 by Brendon McCullum, diving full length to his right and failing to hold on to a difficult catch; Misbah-ul-Haq, who added 94 with Hafeez, was given a reprieve through a missed stumping by McCullum, and Bennett dropped a relatively simple catch off Afridi that, otherwise, could have checked the one-way traffic towards the end of the innings.

Even as Pakistan tried to rebuild their innings, Hafeez was at ease, displaying an excellent ability to adapt, rotating the strike with Misbah and threading the gaps with adept footwork and timing. He stepped out to smash debutant Luke Woodcock for a straight boundary, lofted Oram over the in-field and, after securing his century and taking the batting Powerplay, scooped and slogged Southee for successive fours before signing off by heaving Kyle Mills for a six.

By the time he fell, Umar had warmed up with a couple of meaty hits and Afridi only had to join in. He targeted Oram, who was struggling with his lengths, in the 46th over, hammering him for two sixes on the leg side and a boundary through cover. The seamers either bowled too full or dragged the ball too short and Afridi, paddling, swatting and slapping, collected sixes over fine leg, cover point and long-on on his way to equalling the fastest half-century - off 19 balls - by a batsman in New Zealand, a record also held by McCullum.

New Zealand began brightly in their reply with Martin Guptill and Jamie How capitalising on the short boundaries to add 44 in quick time. But Pakistan's seamers, unlike the New Zealand bowlers, relied more on variations in pace with Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz and Umar Gul ensuring the pressure of a big chase never diminished. How holed out to deep midwicket, failing to pick the slower ball; Ross Taylor, after a watchful start, stabbed at a good-length delivery to be caught at slip by Younis and Guptill, after four boundary-less overs in the second Powerplay, punched Riaz to point where Shehzad clung on to a low chance.

The hosts were in the hunt when Scott Styris and Kane Williamsom preserved their wickets, picked out the gaps to ensure a steady flow of ones and twos and accumulated 81 runs for the fourth wicket to stage a recovery. But while the seamers had picked up the wickets and restrained the batsmen, the slow bowlers, too, proved difficult to step up against, adding to the pressure on New Zealand. Afridi and Hafeez got through their overs quickly and gave little away. Hafeez eventually broke the stand as Styris failed to clear deep midwicket and when Williamson and McCullum departed within three runs of each other - bowled by Riaz and run out by Umar respectively - the game was all but sealed.

Pakistan's approach to their innings was reminiscent of the strategy they had adopted in the 1999 World Cup, progressing slowly with wickets in hand in the middle overs to set the stage for a violent surge in the last ten. Not a bad thing to prepare for the 2011 edition in much the same way.

Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 103 runs in the 3rd T20 match

Pakistan won the 3rd T20 International match against New Zealand by 103 runs on Tuesday-December 30, at AMI Stadium, Christchurch, NZ. However, New Zealand won the three Twenty20 match series by 2-1.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat in the day-night T20 match against New Zealand. Pakistan set New Zealand a challenging total of 184 for victory in the third Twenty20 in Christchurch.

After an explosive opening partnership of Ahmed Shehzad (54) and Hafeez (34) and some late Abdul Razzaq (34) fireworks propelled them to 183, despite a mini collapse in the middle overs. Asad Shafiq (8), YOunis KHan (5) and Shahid Afridi (14) refused the fans, while Umar Akmal contributed 30.

James Franklin took 2 wickets for 12 runs, while Adam Milne, Tim Southee and Nathan McCullum claimed one wicket each.

In reply to Pakistan's total , New Zealand start was horrible. Abdul Razzaq rattled the top three Kiwi batsmen and once they were five down for 11 runs only , as Jesse Ryder, Guptill, Brownlie and Ross Taylor out on ducks.

Scott Styris was the only batsman, who entered in the double figures with 45 runs and Kiwis were all out for 80 runs in 16th over.

Afridi finishes with 4 for 14, but the star was undoubtedly Abdul Razzaq, who hammered 34 off 11 deliveries before taking three top-order wickets for 13.

New Zealand vs Pakistan 2nd T20 - The Kiwis won the match by 39 runs.Pakistan actually won the toss and elected to field but the New Zealand batsmen was unstoppable .After Jesse Ryder out of the first ball,Martin Guptill and Franklin played brilliantly and made 91 runs partnership which helped them to build the innings .The New Zealand innings ended with 185 runs for 7 wickets.

Pakistan was 39 runs short in their innings.Nathan McCullum took four wickets.Only Mohammad Hafeez scored highest run of 46.Pakistan innings ended within 146 runs for 9 wickets.But the turning point of the match was probably the batting of the New Zealand wicket keeper Peter McGlashan who scored 26 runs in just 10 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.Nathan McCullum was adjusted the man of the match.

PCB bars Facebook, Twitter for players

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned players from using social networking websites while on tour after being left embarrassed by wicket-keeper Zulqarnain Haider's escapades on Facebook.

Haider, who used Facebook to disclose his plans of abandoning the team after the fourth One-Day International against South Africa in the UAE following alleged threats received from bookmakers. He fled to the UK and announced his retirement shortly afterwards.

The national board said the step has been taken for the players' safety.

Pakistan team manager Intikhab Alam confirmed the players were told not to use social network sites as part of clauses in their contracts.

''There is a clause in their contracts which states clearly they can not use these social network sites or discuss cricket issues while under contract. It is for their own good so that they do not get entangled into controversies,'' the former Test captain said.

''They're prone to danger if the wrong person gets access to their information, whereabouts and so on. Therefore, the PCB has finalised the policy and banned the usage of all social networking websites during ongoing tours and series, while also advising them to keep their activity minimum when they are not playing,'' he added.

Not only members of the national team but all other centrally contracted players with the board have been told to avoid using Facebook or Twitter.

Asked if the policy hurts the players' freedom, the manager said that Pakistan cricket has gone through a tumultuous time and as such, the step was necessary.

Alam also said the board had reports that people had even floated fake pages of some players on these sites.

PCB legal adviser Taffazul Rizvi said people who operate fake accounts of the players are liable to face charges and would be fined.

''There are many accounts that are not operated by the players,'' said Rizvi. ''Fake ones operated by other people are a hazard. These people are liable to face charges of cyber crime and fraud. So my advice to them is to be careful, otherwise they can be prosecuted.''
